Notes on membership:
1. All AMC affiliated rowers and all members of composite crews must wear Alan Mitchell Rowing Club uniforms in regattas when rowing in an AMC or Wesley boat.
2. Cox membership does not entitle a cox to row.
3. Visitors can only row with paid up Alan Mitchell Club members and are not to be provided with access codes to the club house. Visitors can row with Club members for a maximum of 3 rows in a membership year, after which they must join the Alan Mitchell Club to continue rowing.
4. Social membership does not include use of boats or equipment.
5.All members are required to obtain an online Working with Children Check. This takes about 15 minutes and is free.
* The standard Masters’ annual membership fee is for recreational rowing. Any Club member who wishes to participate in competitive rowing/regattas during the year must upgrade their membership to be registered with Rowing Victoria as a competitive rower. Rowing Victoria fees apply for this upgrade of membership and all membership upgrades should be arranged through the Club Treasurer.
** Current Wesley students under the age of 18 years must always be accompanied by their parent or guardian while at the Club sheds or while using Club equipment

Experienced coaching is available on demand supporting all levels from beginner Learn to Row Programs through to novice, intermediate masters and competitive crews. Active participation in local and regional regattas including the iconic Head of the Yarra- Australia’s largest Eights only race on the Yarra river.
